I am LOVING this book! The author is so creative with his characters, and the story is so well written. Interesting ideas presented in this book. I highly recommend reading it for something DIFFERENT! Love it!
Great read - I'd say if you like dystopian fiction or urban fantasy you would enjoy this book. Though the style was unconventional (a series of letters progressively telling the story), it didn't interrupt the flow of the plot. Several perspectives were given that all came together. A job well done to Kevin Garland.

I should have been studying for my finals, but couldn't stop reading. It seems to me that this novel could be the subject of discussion in a college level literature class. The symbolism is deep, the language is sophisticated and it has a meaningful, powerful message.

Mad Heroes immediately grabs the reader and brings them into the mind of Kevin Garland - a place where one quickly begins to question their own identity and place in society.
